Preserving Afro–Caribbean Music Through Art & Education

Yámbawa is a vibrant music project led by master percussionist Anthony Carrillo and pianist Amy Quint-Millan, blending Afro–Puerto Rican rhythms with jazz, salsa, and contemporary Latin styles. We're creating an original album and educational tools—including a Bongo Instructional Curriculum and companion book—to honor, preserve, and share underrepresented Afro–Caribbean musical traditions. Your support will fund album production, artist compensation, educational materials, and community programming. With fiscal sponsorship, all donations are tax-deductible.
